Our corporate governance model conforms to international regulations

Plan, Lead, and Operate

OTB Group Board of Directors is responsible for planning and monitoring our Group strategy, and operational and financial performance. It may delegate its powers to the Chairman for ordinary and extraordinary decisions, or to the CEO for day-to-day business administration.

Renzo Rosso

Renzo Rosso is the Founder and Chairman of OTB, the international fashion and luxury Group powering a range of global, unconventional brands, including Diesel, Jil Sander, Maison Margiela, Marni and Viktor&Rolf. The Group also operates Staff International and Brave Kid, and it holds a stake in American brand Amiri.  

In 1978, Renzo Rosso founded Diesel, and turned it into the global fashion icon it is today.   

In 2002, his brave, unapologetic spirit urged him to create a Group of international fashion brands called OTB (“Only The Brave”), which he leads with a strong vision based on creativity, innovation and sustainability.     In 2006, Renzo Rosso’s determination to give back to society made him establish OTB Foundation, the non-profit organization of OTB Group. Since its creation, the Foundation has supported more than 350 social development projects all over the world, with a special focus on women, children, integration and global emergencies, impacting the lives of over 350,000 people. 

Parallel to OTB, he operates Red Circle Investments, his private investment company, whose portfolio spans across different sectors sharing a strong push to innovation, quality, and sustainability, from food and tech-food to tech innovation, from environment and health to prestigious international funds. Through the real estate company Red Circle, Renzo Rosso invests in international properties and in the hospitality sector with properties in the US, in Italy and in the UK. He recently created Brave Wine, the vehicle through which he invests in outstanding wine companies in the best terroirs in Italy and abroad.  

Renzo Rosso is a member of the Steering Committee of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, and in 2021 Confindustria (the General Confederation of Italian Industry) named him the Delegate of the association for the Excellence, Beauty, and Taste of Italian Brands.  

Ubaldo Minelli

Ubaldo Minelli is the Chief Executive Officer of OTB since January 2018. In his role, Minelli coordinates the key functions of the Group and the CEOs of the brands of OTB report directly to him. 

From September 2021 to May 2023, he has been CEO of Jil Sander, the latest brand acquired by the Group, from 2015 to 2020 he was CEO of Marni and since 1998 he has held the position of CEO of Staff International. Ubaldo Minelli has over 30 years of experience in the fashion and luxury sector and over 25 in the OTB Group. 

Stefano Rosso

Stefano Rosso is the Chairman of Maison Margiela and the CEO of BVX (Brave Virtual Xperience), the business unit of OTB Group dedicated to the development of products, contents and experiences for the virtual world. He sits on the Board of Directors of OTB and, since October 2021, he has been also member of the Board of AURA Blockchain Consortium, representing OTB as founding member, alongside LVMH, Prada Group, Cartier (Richemont) and Mercedes-Benz. 

Stefano is the co-founder and CEO of D-Cave, the gaming community lifestyle platform, and is also the President of L.R. Vicenza, Italy’s Serie C football club. 

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Trade and Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology of New York, and began his professional career abroad, collaborating with brands such as Zoo York of American group Ecko Unlimited. 

Stefano joined OTB Group as brand manager of the '5-pocket' (denim) category, and then covering the role of Strategic Brand Alliances Director at Diesel, where he managed collaborations with global brands such as Adidas Originals and Ducati. 

In 2011 Stefano became Director of Corporate Development of OTB Group, and in February 2013 he was appointed co-CEO. In 2017 he became CEO of Diesel North America, a responsibility he left after his mandate ended in 2020.
