The OTB Group has adopted a global Code of Ethics that sets forth principles regarding working conditions, the protection of workers’ rights, the fight against forced labor, harassment, and discrimination, as well as the protection of the environment and animal welfare, in compliance with applicable laws.

The ethics that guide our business

The OTB Group has adopted a global Code of Ethics that defines the principles and standards of conduct applicable to the Group’s activities and its relationships with its stakeholders. Among other aspects, the Code governs working conditions, the protection of workers’ rights, the fight against forced and child labor, harassment, and discrimination, as well as environmental protection, animal welfare, and compliance with applicable regulations. The Code is divided into three sections: general principles, standards of conduct, and provisions regarding its implementation and monitoring.

Code of Conduct

The General Principles

The General Principles are the fundamental values and regulations underlying our Group's culture.

The Standards of Conduct

The Standards of Conduct set out the specific rules of conduct that employees must follow to adhere to the Group's values and principles and practice ethical behavior.

The Rules

The Rules for implementing and monitoring the Code describe the control system for compliance and continuous improvement. The Code is given to all new employees and shared with suppliers.

Supplier Code of Conduct

OTB has adopted a Supplier Code of Conduct that defines the social and environmental principles and standards required of its partners throughout the supply chain, with particular emphasis on human and labor rights, occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and animal welfare. Suppliers and subcontractors are required to comply with the requirements set forth in the Code.

OTB guidelines for suppliers

Our Code of Conduct is based on internationally recognized social and environmental standards, including the eight Fundamental Conventions of the International Labor Organization and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The Code sets forth the requirements that suppliers must comply with and governs aspects relevant to supply chain management.
