Waste Management at OTB
As part of its Global Compliance Program, OTB has established procedures for managing and monitoring the waste generated by its operations. The Group employs systems for collecting and monitoring data on various waste streams and specific procedures for managing them—including hazardous waste—in accordance with applicable regulations.
Environmental Management System Certification
In 2025, OTB S.p.A. and Staff International S.p.A. obtained ISO 14001 certification for their Environmental Management System. The ISO 14001 standard defines the requirements for adopting a structured system to manage environmental aspects, encompassing the assessment of risks and opportunities and the periodic verification of applicable compliance obligations.
Waste Management Procedure
In line with the Waste Management Procedure published in 2024, the Group continued to make significant progress.
Separate waste collection was optimised, and specific channels were set up for fabric recovery, to promote the reuse and recycling of this valuable resource. A special prototype management system was also introduced, to separate this stream from other non-recyclable waste.

ZDHC and Chemical Management
OTB brands are committed to phasing out hazardous chemicals from the entire product life cycle to protect the environment, factory workers and end consumers, in line with international regulations and the Group's environmental guidelines.
In 2021, the Group joined the ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) Foundation's Roadmap to Zero Programme to develop a water and chemical management strategy based on the leading industry standards for all suppliers that employ wet processes.
Moreover, since 2022, OTB has adopted a Restricted Substances List (RSL) & Product Safety Requirements (PSR) to regulate management of chemicals for all the companies in the Group.
The document supplements the regulatory restrictions on chemicals used in manufacturing with more stringent requirements and standards, such as the latest guidelines of the ZDHC Manufacturing RSL and other standards to ensure product safety.
Suppliers are required to subscribe to and sign the RSL as part of their onboarding process.
